# Rerolls
Players are able to swap a Kami in their party for a random Kami in the Vending Machine Gacha Pool. This is referred to as "Rerolling" a Kami and costs one **Reroll Ticket**.
Players may choose to reroll a Kami for a variety of reasons, such as:
* Seeking a Kami with overall stronger [Base Stats](/gameplay/kamigotchi/stats.md).
* Seeking a Kami of a particular [Type ](/gameplay/kamigotchi/types.md)or with particular [Traits](/gameplay/kamigotchi/traits.md).
* Punishing one of your current Kami for bad behavior.
**Reroll Tickets** are auctioned in-game at the Vending Machine, much like **Gacha Tickets**. However, **Reroll Tickets** are priced in  [Onyx Shards](https://docs.kamigotchi.io/gameplay/econ/onyx#trading-onyx-shards-in-the-marketplace) and have an infinite supply.
