# How to stake esINIT and boost Yominet VIP Rewards

*This tutorial requires you to have vesting esINIT (in Yominet's case, obtained by* [*burning **VIPP***](/gameplay/econ/vip.md) <img src="/files/y5oaH0GxFKAGmtiiyzRo" alt="" data-size="line">*) and USDC.*&#x20;

1. First, head over to [https://app.initia.xyz/vip](https://t.co/qD9bS04uIV) to start! Find Yominet on the list, then click "My positions"

2. On the bottom of the page, you will find your positions. Click "LOCK STAKE" to begin the lock staking process.

3. Select which pool you will lock stake in. At the time of making this tutorial, only the USDC-esINIT pool is available.

4. Choose how much you want to lock stake in.

5. Select which validator you will lock stake in.

6. Choose for how long you want to lock stake your esINIT and USDC. The longer you lock, the more VIP gauge voting power you'll have. \
   Be aware that you cannot unstake locked tokens until the release date.

7. Confirm if everything looks correct and hit Confirm.

**Congratulations! You've now lock-staked your vesting esINIT with USDC. Now, onto voting...**

8. Head over to [https://app.initia.xyz/vip/gauge](https://t.co/tkhpvkzke6) and click the "Vote" button.

9. After you clicked "Vote", find Yominet on the list and type in how much of your staked INIT will go into Yominet's VIP rewards.

10. After you've chosen how much of your voting power goes into Yominet, click "Submit".&#x20;
