Cooldown

What are cooldowns? How do they work?

A Cooldown is a period of time during which your Kami cannot be fed items, leave a room, join a room, or liquidate another Kami. Kami at rest will have a blue, filled circle adjacent to their health bar, while Kami in a Cooldown period will have partially filled circles that are either red (beginning stage of Cooldown), yellow (middle stage), or green (end of Cooldown). Only when the circle turns blue is the Cooldown period over and the Kami eligible to take another action.

A Cooldown period stars when you initiate one of four actions for your Kami:

  • Add your Kami to a Room.

  • Collect your Kami's accumulated MUSU.

  • Use your Kami to liquidate an opposing Kami.

  • Remove your Kami from a Room.

Each Kami has a baseline Cooldown period of three minutes, but that time can be reduced as you level up your Kami and select certain skills that improve its Cooldown Shift. Some items will also reduce it.

Additionally, Operators can use large_jar_1_native.png Spirit Glue on enemy Kami in a room, to impose a 180 seconds cooldown on them.
