Harvesting

What is Harvesting? What's it for? How do I harvest?

If at any point you click the “Harvest” button at the top left of your screen, you will open the Harvest Menu for your current room. This menu will provide you with several important pieces of information:

In general, your goal is to allow your Kami to accumulate as much MUSU as possible. Harvesting gives you MUSU that can be spent on Items and Co-Ops, gives XP to the harvesting Kami (see ), and adds to your Scavenge Meter.

While, in general, time spent harvesting is positive-sum for your Kami, this comes with a big caveat: Your Kami gradually loses Health Points (HP) while harvesting. HP lost is roughly proportional to MUSU gained, and both the rate of MUSU gained and rate of HP lost increase over time (provided you do not feed/heal your Kami).

As a Kami’s HP decreases it becomes more susceptible to being by other Kami in the room. You can increase your Kami’s HP — and in so doing decrease its chance of being liquidated — by a) feeding it food and/or healing items or b) stopping the harvest and allowing it to rest and gradually replenish its HP over time.

You can also hedge your bets and simply Collect your Kami’s currently accumulated MUSU. This means you claim all MUSU gathered to-date but your Kami stays harvesting and continues to gather new MUSU.

Whenever you collect your Kami's accumulated MUSU — or remove it from its current Room — your Kami will be subject to a Cooldown period.
