Quests and Reputation

Kamigotchi contains a Quest system which incentivizes you to visit certain rooms, take certain actions, and provide certain Items to fulfill quest requirements. Completing quests earns you Reputation. Here’s what the quest menu looks like in-game:
The menu allows you to tab between Available quests - new quests that you have not yet accepted - and Accepted quests. Quests can be accepted as soon as they are available, and Quest progress is only tracked if the Quest has been accepted.
The top portion of the Quest menu shows information about the quest including the specific Objectives and Rewards. The quest shown above requires you to provide 5 Mistletoes for which you will be rewarded one Mochi (see Items) and 3 Reputation.
Any Reputation gained from a Quest will be added to the Reputation progress bar at the bottom of the Quest menu. You’ll notice that the blue bar is studded with Circles - these are milestones at which you can spawn a new Kami (see Minting and Rerolling Kami).
Quests are your best way to earn Reputation, which in addition to unlocking new Kamis can earn you other in-game rewards. Importantly, while your game actions will unlock new quests over time, all quests are Local Events that are available to all players. This means the availability of a quest is contingent only on the actions of the individual player and is independent of the actions of other players. This is not the case, however, with Co-Ops.
